The 2022 Commonwealth Games were a huge success for Team Dulcedo! All of our Dulcedo athletes made the podium! But along with walking away with major hardware... the stories from the games are what legends are made of. It was a major comeback for Caeli McKay since her almost career-ending injury at the Olympics. The odds were stacked against her returning to diving but she came back and with a vengeance, earning her first medal since her injury. Felix Dolci is used to collecting hardware but these games showed his hunger for more. Nobody pushes Felix harder than Felix himself. And finally, Kelsey Mitchell, our newest talent, showed the world why she is an elite in her field of cycling. Four medals in four days of competition! It was nothing short of an iconic performance.
See the medal count below with some thoughts from our Sports + Entertainment Senior Agent, Thomas Houlton, on the success of his athletes.
FELIX DOLCI, Gymnast
Silver medal - Men’s Team Final
Silver medal - Men's Floor
Thomas Houlton: Felix continues to impress and make a name for himself on the world stage. While most would be happy coming away with two silver medals, I know this has left him wanting more. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us next.
CAELI MCKAY, Diver
Bronze medal - Individual 10m platform
Thomas Houlton: I am incredibly proud of Caeli. This is her first medal since the career threatening ankle injury she battled through at the Olympics. She's one of the toughest people I know and I'm so happy to see her reliance has paid off over the last year.
KELSEY MITCHELL, Cyclist
Silver medal - Team Sprint
Silver medal - Women's Sprint Race
Silver medal - Women’s 500m Time Trial
Bronze medal - Keirin Final
Thomas Houlton: Kelsey's performance blew us all away. Having only signed with Dulcedo a few days before the games, we couldn't be happier for her as she embarks on this new journey with us. What a start!
