April and May have been anything but ordinary for Molly Carlson and Jessica Campbell. With show-stopping collaborations, career-defining appearances, and the kind of cultural relevance that can't be manufactured, both women reminded us what influence looks like when it’s grounded in purpose, passion, and presence.

Molly Carlson: Diving Into Dreams, Mic’d Up Moments & the Kentucky Derby

For professional high diver and Red Bull athlete Molly Carlson, this was a month of firsts—and of long-held dreams realized.

It began in Las Vegas, where she partnered with Cirque du Soleil for a personal, full-circle moment: diving in the iconic “O” Theatre pool alongside Cirque’s professional team. This wasn’t just a cool collab—it was the fulfilment of a dream sparked at age 7, when Molly saw her very first Cirque show. “Baby Molly would be so proud,” she shared with her community.

Then came a different kind of arena: Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Montreal. Molly teamed up with the NHL for a mic’d-up content experience alongside her partner and fellow high diver Aidan Heslop. Filmed rinkside as the Canadiens lit up the scoreboard, her reactions captured the energy, humour, and heart her followers know and love.

And just when you thought her schedule couldn’t get more stacked, Molly headed to Louisville for her first-ever Kentucky Derby—attending as a guest of NBC, Peacock, and NBC Sports. From spotting celebs like Simone Biles and Jack Harlow, to soaking in the fashion, food, and culture of both Kentucky Oaks and Derby Day, she brought her signature charm to every moment. “Every second felt like a bucket-list moment,” she wrote.

Jessica Campbell: Changing the Game On and Off the Ice

Meanwhile, Jessica Campbell was making her own waves—this time through powerful conversations and game-changing visibility.

As the first woman behind an NHL bench and an assistant coach for the Seattle Kraken, Jessica took the stage at the espnW Summit in New York City. Speaking on the panel “Women at the Helm” alongside fellow leaders, she shared her story of breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry and the importance of representation in sport. “Luck is a four-letter word spelled W-O-R-K,” she said—a line that stuck with the audience and summed up her grounded, no-nonsense leadership style.

Shortly after, she appeared in a live podcast taping hosted by Valeria Lipovetsky in partnership with L’Oréal Paris, as part of the Not Alone series. The episode brought together a room full of creators, consumers, and community voices to talk about ambition, authenticity, and belonging. Jessica shared her thoughts on building legacy and leading with intention—a conversation that echoed her larger mission: lifting others as she climbs.
