What was the most exciting part of attending NYFW this year?

As a fashion enthusiast, I love experimenting with my personal style and expressing my creativity through fashion, NYFW is the perfect place to do that. The most exciting part? Seeing how fashion continues to evolve and being surrounded by people who share the same passion for the industry. This year was particularly special because it was my first time attending NYFW in February and experiencing the Fall/Winter collections firsthand.

What advice would you give to creators attending their first NYFW?

If you’re attending NYFW for the first time, my biggest piece of advice is to plan ahead but stay flexible. The schedule is packed, and you'll be running between shows, panels, and events across the city. Plan your shows, outfits, dinners, and afterparties in advance, and keep everything organized in your calendar for easy access. NYFW is definitely hectic, so also set aside some time each day for editing if you plan to document everything and post in-the-moment content!

Networking is key! Whether it's at a show, an afterparty, or even in line, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself. The connections you make can be game-changing.

When it comes to fashion, wear something that truly represents your style. NYFW is all about self-expression, so be bold, but also practical. Heels are great, but heels for an entire day? Not so much! Opt for stylish but comfortable shoes that will carry you through the long days. If possible, stay in Manhattan! It will save you time, energy, and money on Ubers/taxis, making outfit changes between events much easier.

Were there any emerging designers or brands that stood out to you?

One designer that particularly stood out this season was Alexis Bittar. Instead of a traditional runway show, Bittar crafted an avant-garde performance that transformed how jewelry and accessories are presented. The showcase explored themes of ageism, sexism, and the shifting relationship between reality and technology, highlighting Bittar’s dedication to inclusivity and pushing creative boundaries.

The collection blended retro-futuristic elements with modern sophistication, featuring bold metallic finishes, sculptural lucite, and intricate mixed-media designs. Handbags carried a sleek, industrial aesthetic, perfectly complementing the statement-making jewelry. The presentation challenged conventional ideas of beauty and time, staying true to Bittar’s fearless and innovative vision.

How do you think NYFW influences content creation and brand partnerships for creators?

NYFW is a huge opportunity for creators. The trends seen on the runway set the tone for upcoming fashion trends, influencing everything from street style to social media aesthetics. Brands are increasingly looking for creators to bring their collections to life through engaging, authentic content. From styling Reels to behind-the-scenes vlogs, there are countless ways to leverage NYFW to build brand partnerships. For creators, it’s the perfect time to connect with designers, PR teams, and fellow influencers to explore future collaborations.

What was a standout moment you experienced during your trip?

One of the most meaningful moments for me was meeting my talent, Allina Ai, and Danessy Auguste, as well as the agent I work with, Sarah Perkins. Since we live in different countries, having the opportunity to connect in person was truly special. It deepened our working relationship beyond virtual interactions.

More Than Just Fashion—A Cultural Moment

NYFW is about more than just clothing; it’s a reflection of culture, creativity, and influence. As digital creators, our talents not only attended shows but also shared behind-the-scenes insights, collaborations, and real-time fashion moments with their audiences. By merging their online presence with the real-world fashion scene, they continue to bridge the gap between traditional fashion media and digital storytelling.
