Following the strong results of Dulcedo’s Montreal Model Team casting call earlier in summer 2024, on September 18th, Dulcedo’s Toronto team hosted a very successful open casting call at Over The Rainbow in Yorkville looking out for fresh faces in the city! With over 250 model applicants in attendance that day, many exciting new potential Dulcedo models were spotted by the team.
Vibrating with anticipation, the Toronto team arrived at the casting call at 10:45am in the morning and applicants were already lining up in Toronto's Manulife Centre eager to have their shot at meeting with the team. A jam-packed day, the Dulcedo team, which included Taylor, Katie, Rebecca, Kris, Luis, and Jennet, didn’t wrap until 5:30pm. The long day reflected the strong turnout and the team’s commitment to squeezing in as much time with all the applicants as possible to ensure they were identifying the best candidates from an already stacked line-up. Difficult decisions were already on the horizon!
To further narrow down the already strong group of finalists from the first round, a second round of callbacks was hosted the week of October 1st. The team came in committed to zero in on the final new squad of models. 40 outstanding candidates returned for this second round, and now the team is in its final stages of reviewing applicants and confirming the new generation of models! Who will it be? The anticipation is high for everyone involved!
The highly organized Dulcedo team acted as a well-oiled machine that day; Rebecca acted as event coordinator, while Jennet, Kris, and Taylor organized applicants and completed forms and measurements, and Luis and Katie spearheaded the photography component, capturing the images of the applicants. The tremendous success of this casting call was a true testament to the teamwork and commitment of the team in Toronto, and yet again sets a new standard for the contribution of growth to Dulcedo as an agency. Their hard work and success-oriented drive is truly a feat to celebrate. Congratulations to the Toronto Model Team; we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! There's only more growth ahead for Dulcedo's roster of models!
