How do you evolve without losing yourself?
This was the quiet through line in our conversation with Karim S. Leduc, CEO, co-owner, and longtime architect of Dulcedo’s growth. For the past fifteen years, Karim has helped steer the company from its inception as a boutique modeling agency towards a bold and contemporary multi-vertical agency. Today, Dulcedo is known across modelling, athletics, influence, gaming, and entertainment, not as a collection of silos, but as a single, unified brand.
We are no longer just a group of divisions, a set of separate teams or identities. We are one brand. One energy. With one shared mission: to elevate people.
On what it means to elevate
To Karim, the company’s new slogan is more than language. It is a philosophy. Elevating people means helping talent rise, not just in their careers, but in their confidence, their impact, and their long-term success. It means pushing them higher, faster, but with the right tools, structures, and guidance in place.
It also applies internally. The same spirit of upward movement is offered to team members, leaders, and collaborators. At Dulcedo, growth is something to be shared, not siloed. Whether it’s building systems around integrity and creativity or promoting leaders from within, Karim believes in rising together.
On where we are going
The future Karim imagines is expansive and multi-dimensional. He sees Dulcedo evolving from talent management into something broader, a full-stack creative and media group that supports and nurtures talent from every angle. That includes exploring new categories such as acting and comedy, as well as investing in adjacent services like marketing, public relations, and production.
If our mission is to elevate people, we need to do more than represent them. We need to surround them. Strategically. Creatively. Intentionally.
On what has stayed the same
Even as the company has grown, the most important values have remained immovable. Karim points to passion, unity, creativity, and integrity as the constants that still guide every decision. And there is a reason they have held. Unlike many companies that grow through outside leadership or capital, Dulcedo’s original founders and partners are still deeply involved in the day-to-day.
The Dulcedo DNA has never been diluted. The people who built this company are still here building it. That consistency at the core is what protects our spirit, even as we grow.
On raising the standard
Where most agencies have focused on bookings and short-term wins, Dulcedo has always looked deeper. From the beginning, the company has invested in people over projects — developing talent through coaching, long-term planning, and a team of hands-on strategists and account managers who work closely with talent every day. The goal has never been quick wins, but to build real, sustained careers. Karim hopes these pillars, which Dulcedo adopted early, become industry standards. Less one-hit wonder. More foundation-building. Less managing what is visible. More investing in what lasts.
We don’t just want to manage talent. We want to create and support long-term careers.
On the power of perspective
When asked what he would do with a week off, Karim smiles. The answer is simple. Marrakesh. Family. Sunshine. Quiet time where the pace is different and priorities come into focus.
It is a reminder that evolution does not always come from speeding up. Sometimes, it begins with stepping back, looking clearly, and choosing with intention how to move forward. It is about knowing how to protect what matters, while evolving what needs to grow.
Evolving without erasing. Growing without forgetting. And building a future where every kind of talent has the space to rise.
That is what this new era of Dulcedo is all about. Moving forward with purpose. Growing without losing ground. Changing, not to become something else entirely, but to become more of who we already are.
