A second-generation Congolese-Canadian, community organizer, and Olympian. She has been on the National Senior Women's rugby team for over 6 years and has been making waves on the pitch and beyond with her activism and efforts in the community. Pamphinette Buisa utilizes her platform to amplify voices and challenge systems of oppression. She led the Canadian Women’s rugby team at the Olympics to use their platform to shed light on truth & reconciliation in Canada. Pamphinette exemplifies how to be both a champion of sport and social equity. She is passionate about evoking intentional and deeply rooted relationships within the community and approaches all her work in a way that empowers and uplifts others to strive toward excellence.
