About
Jade Kovacevic is a Canadian soccer player whose career has taken her from youth fields in Ontario to professional clubs in Italy and Hungary, and now to the Northern Super League with AFC Toronto. She made history as the NSL’s first-ever signing, stepping into a leadership role as both a player and advocate in Canada’s new professional league for women. Her journey reflects years of dedication to the game and a drive to help build something bigger for future generations.
Off the field, Jade is deeply rooted in community. Her involvement in local programs and youth development led her to create J9 Soccer, a training business focused on mentorship and growth. With more than seven years of coaching experience and a Provincial B Licence in progress, she’s coached at Fanshawe College and led FC London’s U21 team. Outside soccer, she finds inspiration in fashion and beauty, embracing creativity and individuality as extensions of her identity on and off the pitch.
