About
Cassie Sharpe is one of the most decorated halfpipe skiers in the world, known for her technical tricks, massive amplitude, and fearless style. Raised on Vancouver Island, she grew up chasing her two brothers through the trees and terrain of Mount Washington, where their dad worked at the local ski hill. Long before Olympic medals or recognition on the world stage, her only goal was to out-ski her siblings.
Her Olympic breakthrough came in 2018 when she won gold in PyeongChang, earning Canada its first-ever medal in women’s ski halfpipe. She followed it with silver at the 2022 Games in Beijing after returning from a major knee injury. Over the course of her career, she has won multiple X Games medals, two Crystal Globes as the overall World Cup halfpipe champion, and two World Championship silver medals. She also made history as the first woman to land a switch cork 720 in competition, a moment that captured her drive to push the boundaries of the sport.
Now balancing elite competition with life as a new mom, Cassie brings the same energy and determination to motherhood as she does to the pipe. With an extra cheerleader in her daughter, she is preparing to take on the international stage once again in 2026 at the Milan Winter Olympics.
