“Watch the Paint Move" was an Instagram reel posted by Simon Bull in early 2022, documenting the creation of a large-scale artwork that used the force of gravity to slowly move pools of paint. The post went viral. Thirty million views later, the phenomenon known as @simonbullart had begun. Since then, he has posted reels documenting his artistic process daily, thrilling a worldwide audience with more than a billion views to date. Bull's influence on social media has not been his only fifteen minutes of fame. Following his first one-man show in Hong Kong, he established one of the busiest printmaking studios in England, with international distribution, a collector list that included the Royal Family, and an award for being the most popular printmaker in the UK. His London debut was marked by a sell-out show in Harrods, followed by sell-out shows in Los Angeles and New York. More recently, he served as the official artist for boxing legend Muhammad Ali, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC and The Winter Olympics.
