Tyson Barrie from Victoria, British Columbia, is a dynamic defenseman and alternate captain of the Nashville Predators. From his early success with the Kelowna Rockets in the WHL to pivotal roles with the Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers and currently the Nashville Predators, Barrie has successfully made a name for himself with his playmaking ability, power-play contributions, and off-ice leadership. In a league where many players keep to themselves, Barrie has always been someone to show his personality and has never shied away from sharing his support of the LGBTQ+ community and many other causes. Beyond the NHL, he's a gold medalist, having contributed to Canada's success at the 2015 IIHF World Championship.
