The Athletic recently highlighted Sarah Nurse and Dulcedo, shedding light on her aspirations that transcend hockey, aiming for widespread recognition as a household name. While Sarah is undeniably a prominent figure in the sport, her ambitions reach beyond its confines.
“Everywhere you turn, it’s like, there’s Sarah,” said Canadian national team defender Erin Ambrose.
Nurse’s eight major endorsement deals put her ahead of virtually every other professional hockey player, outside of a handful of NHL stars. Among women and players of color, she is in uncharted territory.

At the youthful age of 29, Sarah Nurse has etched her name deep into the annals of hockey history. Through groundbreaking collaborations with Tim Hortons and Mattel, Inc., and her appearance on a Cheerios box, she has demonstrated her prowess not only on the ice but also as a beacon of inspiration beyond it.
Nurse now has eight major sponsors: Adidas, CCM, RBC, Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, EA Sports, Chevrolet and, most recently, Dyson. She’s also signed other paid partnerships with beauty brands such as Dove, L’Oréal and Revlon.

Her recent accomplishments underscore her unwavering commitment and love for the sport of hockey. From shattering records at the Beijing Olympics to becoming the inaugural woman featured on the cover of an EA SPORTS hockey video game in NHL23, Sarah continues to challenge limits and forge paths for future generations of athletes.
As a pivotal figure in the inception of the Professional Women’s Hockey League and a star in Canadian Super Bowl commercials, Sarah Nurse transcends the realm of hockey; she has become a cultural icon through a clear vision, hard work, and the support of her Dulcedo Management family. Best encapsulated in a quote by Dulcedo Senior Athlete Manager, Phoebe Balshin.
“We want her to be a face of hockey, period, not just women’s hockey. And of inclusion in sport,” Balshin said. “She wants to show young girls that they can be so many things.”
