Celebrating a momentous victory, Team USA has been officially crowned champions in the figure skating team event nearly two years after their remarkable performance at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. The joyous announcement came on Tuesday from Sarah Hirshland, CEO of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, following the Court of Arbitration for Sport's (CAS) decision to suspend and disqualify Russian Olympic Committee athlete Kamila Valieva for a doping violation. Subsequently, the International Skating Union confirmed Team USA's elevation to the gold medal position, marking their historic first win in the figure skating team event.

Among the newly minted Olympic gold medalists is Dulcedo's very own, Karen Chen, who can now proudly don the prestigious title. The achievement is shared with fellow outstanding athletes, including singles skaters Nathan Chen and Vincent Zhou, ice dancers Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue, as well as pairs team Alexa Knierim and Brandon Frazier. Although these athletes are not actively competing, their contribution to Team USA's success shines bright in the annals of Olympic history.
